C.E.O. Pay Remains Stratospheric, Even at Companies Battered by Pandemic
Despite the pandemic hit, many top executives received an increased compensation justified through doing a good job in response to the pandemic. Senators and other government officials have publicly criticized the inequality between top executives and normal workers. Many workers are forcefully furloughed while CEOs are rewarded with the action. However, most of the increased compensation is backed by companies who evaluates and reviews top executives’ compensations. “At the end of the day, C.E.O.s end up getting rewarded for how they respond to these external occurrences,” said Jannice Koors, a compensation consultant at Pearl Meyer who works with companies to determine executive pay. “If you think about stores closing, furloughs, etc., C.E.O.s are getting rewarded for making those decisions.”
As Covid-19 Devastates India, Deaths Go Undercounted
A lot of unreported death caused by Covid-19 is revealed through Times’ investigation through talking to hospital works, crematory works, and some government officials. One example is that there are clearly more than reported death in a crematory site which there were roughly 150 bodies being burned while the city’s death by covid-19 was reported way below 150. Reporters have found that most of the reports are written as death from illness instead of Covid-19 which is the fact. There isn’t a clear reason why government intentionally hides the true number of death from covid-19. As for the pandemic situations, the worst two highly contagious and deadly variants of the virus dominate in India and also India is known to be densely populated in major cities such as Delhi. The two combinations are the worst possible consequence India can face.

The end goal is to provide a complete solution that designers can use the iPad just as convenient as working on a PC or Mac. The iPad specs is overall very power that it can be treated just as a desktop but it doesn’t need to plug in the power cable like the PC.
